I temporarily lost the stamp I use on all my card backs last week... I wanted to be sure I had 'something', and had been wanting to order new ones anyway to correct some information that was wrong on my old one, so I went ahead and ordered these 2 stamps........ and of course I found the missing one the next day. LOL!! If you're ever in need of a custom stamp for your card backs or envelopes, I really recommend Rubberstamps.net - they are super speedy, and I love the etched blocks! If you need help designing a high res logo or label for your stamp design, I'd be happy to help you out... take a look at the fonts and design choices over at Digisigis and pop me an email (cost would be $1 per text line or image, min. $3 - same as for watermarks).

I did a little tweaking recently over at the House Mouse Monday Challenge blog - tweaks included a new banner, background, and labels for pages and sidebar. Blog services are NOT my specialty... I can't do anything super amazing, but I have learned a bit through trial and error in working on my own blogs. I'm happy with this though!!

I've been doing some huge tweaks here too - hope this layout is a little more welcoming, and the arrangement of designs and information isn't too confusing. Still working on coordinating colors and streamlining, and I have lots more samples to post. Thanks for visiting!

Sorry for not keeping the site updated, but I'm still here and designing watermarks and headers, and the occasional banner ad, sidebar button, etc. I have some gorgeous new calligraphy fonts I need to get posted, and desperately need to update this site, but haven't had the time. We had a little celebration at our house last night...remember a couple months ago DH lost his wedding ring while playing soccer? I was able (with the help of many of you!!) to save up my watermark money to purchase a replacement ring, and yesterday it arrived here, hand-carried by one of our itinerant co-workers. We didn't do anything incredibly cheesy, but it was fun to share a special time with friends. And some super yum, super rich peanut butter cream cheese brownies...!

(My 4YO thought Dad was wearing an earring in this picture - he's not really! I have some candle jars up there and the flash hit one just right.......! funny though!)

I've decided to simplify my life and make a few changes in my 'catalog' - in keeping with copyright and license agreements regarding images and fonts. So - feel free to mix and match fonts and images from the choices above. I have tons of fonts to choose from that are acceptable for my purposes of commercial use, in case nothing above floats your boat! Yes, yes I do do banners. Cost is $35 for a banner with one matching watermark. Payment through Paypal from your balance or bank-based account. We'll email back and forth a lot, with previews for your input along the way. I'll also be leaving it up to you to install your own banner - I'll try to compile some info here in time, but I can't do it for you. Your watermark(s) will be emailed to you in a zipped .png file, which can be unzipped and saved to your computer then layered over a photo using most photo editing software, or Microsoft Publisher. I'm sorry I don't have any experience with programs other than PhotoImpact 12 and Microsoft Publisher... There are several threads on SCS that cover using watermarks in other programs that I can refer you to; there are also 2 free downloadable programs that I know of, but have not used extensively...

If you do download GIMP I have great instructions from Cindy Keery for using a watermark in that program. Just ask.

As I find links or tutorials for using watermarks in other programs, I'll try to link them here. Otherwise, as long as your photo-editing program has the capability to layer images, handle transparent .png images, and save images as a .jpg file, it should work for your watermark.

How do I order?

Take a look at the watermark designs above. You can click on any of the numbers there to see examples of how each design has been customized for others. If you love the sample just as is, that's great...but if you see a font on someone else's watermark or another personalization that you like better, be sure to mention the reference number when you email me by clicking the button above.

When you email me with your choices, let me know exactly what you'd like for each thing you want changed. For example:

Hi Dina! I'd love to have you create a watermark for me! I'd like:

and a Stampin' Up! (C) line.

I'll get back with you to clarify any details, then I'll get to work on your designs. Usually I'm done within a few days. When I'm done I'll send you a link to view your design(s) via flickr.com, and a Paypal payment request too.

To use a watermark, you will need a photo editing program that allows you to layer or drag one image over another, and that is capable of handling transparent .png images.

Hopefully that's enough info to get you started!

PAYMENT: Payment is via Paypal only. I'll send an invoice with your watermark preview.

RATES: Cost for watermarks is #1.00 per element (so #1 above would be $3.00, #8 would be $4.00, etc), with a minimum payment of $3.00 per design. If you'd like a (C) line or a website line or other element added to any of the designs above, the $1.00 fee would apply - just let me know what you would like. I can also change your original (white/transparent) watermark to any other color for an additional $1.00 (per color). Some people prefer to have a white and a grey version.

BLOG BANNERS are $35, which includes a matching watermark.

BANNER ADS are $25.

ASK if you're interested in a sidebar button or logo design. Prices may vary.

Hi! I’m Dina Kowal! Some of you might know me simply as “dini” or “Mama Dini” from other stamping spaces on the internet.So where did the nickname "Mama Dini" come from? Well, I'm sort of famous for my homemade pizza, and I'd brought pizza to a staff potluck when we were living in Missouri...someone commented, "That pizza's pretty good, is that Papa Johns?" The first words out of my mouth were, "Nope, that's Mama Dini's!" and the name stuck.

I was born in Indonesia, as an oil company kid, but grew up in California and still call it "home." Now I'm living in Indonesia with my own family! We moved here in 2005. We have 4 children, Evan, Emmaleigh, Benjamin, and Elliot. We started homeschooling in 2006. I’ve been stamping since about 1993. My style has evolved over the years, and I get a lot of inspiration on the internet. I enjoy coloring, and love colors! I couldn’t live without my Prismacolor pencils – I have a lot of fun with them, and I have every color! I also love watercoloring. Some of my stamp ‘collections’ include lighthouses, butterflies, teacups, beach scenes, Winnie the Pooh, and birds.

I’ve had cards published in the Rubber Stamper, Paper Crafts, Somerset's Take Ten, and Card Creations, and have won several online card contests. I found my niche in doing design and concept work, and my work can be found in several design team galleries, including Impression Obsession, Our Daily Bread designs, Heartfelt Creations, and Flower Soft. I stamp mainly for my own personal sanity and to stretch my creative limits, but also with the hope that I will be able to encourage others with the work and time that I put into a card just for them.

Besides stamping, I enjoy cooking and baking, playing the piano, and singing. In my other "free time", I am a self-taught graphic designer, and enjoy designing photo watermarks, blog banners, and stamp art!Thank you so much for visiting my site! I hope you find something useful!
